Elizabeth Peterson is the President of the newly chartered Soroptimist International Connecticut Shoreline Club. She has spent three decades working as an engineer in Connecticut. For the same amount of time Elizabeth has been mentoring adolescents and college students in STEM - which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. She currently holds a full time job as a Nuclear Engineer for Dominion at Millstone Power Station in Waterford, CT and regularly volunteers more than 500 hours a year!

What do you do when your life is turned upside down in a split second and you suffer multiple traumatic losses. Kathy Dann shares her breathless story of unbearable loss and says what you do is, "You Keep Moving!" For the past ten years, Kathy is the Director of Community Relations at The Hearth at Tuxis Pond, an assisted living community in Madison, CT. She is very active on different boards including the Madison Chamber of Commerce. She formerly worked in advertising sales. Kathy is the mother of two adult children, Chris and Jess, who are both getting married this year. Kathy is living proof that there is life after tragedy and it does include joy and happy times!
